+ Install cinnamon, and then try logging in with either Cinnamon or Cinnamon 2D
as the DE. Only the wallpaper shows up.

+ None. This is just a fix to the Cinnamon DE, and there are no rdeps. There is
another bug with it freezing up when hitting a menu, but that is reflected in
Debian's BTS as well, and anything is better than just wallpaper.
