Public bug reported: I understand that /usr/bin/startlubuntu was removed from 13.10 (not sure why). However, when using x2go users have been logging in remotely by creating a 'custom' session type which calls /usr/bin/startlubuntu remotely:
http://goo.gl/XRNVQN Now that this is gone, users have no ability to run a remote lubuntu desktop. One, can run startlxde (or lxsession), but this runs the vanilla lxde session and not the lubuntu one. ** Affects: lubuntu-default-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241958 Title: startlubuntu missing from 13.10 for x2go To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-default-settings/+bug/1241958/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
