Public bug reported:

I understand that /usr/bin/startlubuntu was removed from 13.10 (not sure
why). However, when using x2go users have been logging in remotely by
creating a 'custom' session type which calls /usr/bin/startlubuntu
remotely:

Now that this is gone, users have no ability to run a remote lubuntu
desktop. One, can run startlxde (or lxsession), but this runs the
vanilla lxde session and not the lubuntu one.

** Affects: lubuntu-default-settings (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
