I am sure, that i had this exact same bug with feisty fawn, too. I had made several updates and i can't confirm this bug anymore. I get a normal error message, when i press on this button in kinfocenter. This bug seems to be bound to the original vesa driver in connection with the original feisty kernel. I had changed my driver to the propritary old nvidia driver and had no problems since then. Now i use the vesa driver again with an updated kernel.
