Actually I was mistaken, keyboard/mouse worked but was laggy, fixed
after switching to and from tty with ctrl+alt+f1 followed by
ctrl+alt+f7.

To get the wireless working in the latest kernel I had to remove the
broadcom-sta driver and install bcmwl-kernel-source_6.20.155.1+bdcom-
0ubuntu6_amd64.deb (from google).

To get v3.12-rc6-saucy wifi working I also has to use the patch from
post #9 in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1197586
to the folder /var/lib/dkms/bcmwl/6.20.155.1+bdcom/build/patches . Then
rebuild the wireless module using dkms using: sudo dkms autoinstall -m
bcmwl -v 6.20.155.1+bdcom -k 3.12.0-031200rc6-generic .
