I have tried booting into older kernels, but no joy.

Since removing the 'update-nvidia' file the 'sudo apt-get install -f'
goes fine.

It is as though the driver is not being seen, even though it compiles
the kernel ok.

When I was able to boot into a GUI, there was no sign of a driver, even
in details, the Graphics Card selection was missing.

I think I shouldn't of upgraded, every time I upgrade Unity gets sick...

I think I'll reinstall, but I may try Ubuntu Gnome or Kubuntu.

Thanks for the help :)
