I would like to add that I've only noticed the problem when DVI/DP cables are used to connect the external monitor. VGA cable works just fine. I have a Lenovo T520 with these graphics:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119M [Quadro NVS 4200M] (rev a1) and two external monitors, the one connected with VGA works just fine but the second one connected with DVI has artifacts and rendering issues. A fix or workaround is very much appreciated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1228506 Title: [prime] unsynchronised rendering on secondary displays To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nouveau/+bug/1228506/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
