I'm not very experienced in trying kernel versions installed manually. I read the page "https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds?action=show&redirect=KernelMainlineBuilds", but I would avoid that after installing the new kernel the system to become unstable or are not compiled drivers for some devices. How can I test the 3.12 kernel safely without risking damage to my system? Thanks
