I noticed this too.

I have a Line 6 Toneport GX and a Line 6 Pod XT Live. I also have an
Alesis Multimix USB Mixer. If I set the input and output to either Line
6 device everything works fine. But if I set the input to the Line 6 and
the output to my Alesis I get the kernel panic. It also happens when I
set the Alesis to the input and the Line 6 to the output.

This bug occurs in Ubuntu 13.10 and Debian Squeeze. Those are all the
distros I have tested so far.

I too am running the 64 bit version of Debian and Ubuntu.
