Public bug reported:
So after flashing trusty, adb ceased functioning. It would always just
say 'device not found', on my nexus 7. This prevented any phablet-tools
from working, because they all rely on adb to communicate with the
phablet.
This command restored adb functionality on the device:
$ echo manual | sudo tee /etc/init/mtp-server-bootup.override
Now phablet-tools are working again.
