This also happens on Xubuntu 13.10 i386 with gtk-gnutella 0.98.4-1. I get the following message when I launch gtkg from the command line: zapman@xubuntu:~$ gtk-gnutella
***MEMORY-ERROR***: [2882]: GSlice: failed to allocate 504 bytes (alignment: 512): Cannot allocate memory Aborted (core dumped) (This was discussed on the SourceForge bug report Mark mentioned). Fortunately, compiling and installing gtk-gnutella 1.0 works just fine so it would be great to have this package updated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1182783 Title: gtk-gnutella will not run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk-gnutella/+bug/1182783/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
