That worked. I am attaching my xorg log files (2) of them. The first is the backup file (the original file) that was before I did the restricted driver update, the second is the newly created xorg log that was created after installing the restricted driver that appears to have fixed the problem. While this (crutch) is not a fix, this may help the programmers to fix the problem once and for all.
