Public bug reported:
The open driver (xserver-xorg-video-ati) works fine, but the TV-OUT
support is not fine. Also, the atitvout tool doesn't work fine.
I tried to install the fglrx driver (propietary) but it is updated and
the new version of fglrx doesn't support Radeon 9250 SE anymore. One
possible solution could be to introduce the old fglrx in the
repositories for the old Radeon 9250 SE, so the tools for the tv-out
would work.
So: driver ati is the only one that works with RADEON 9250SE but it has
no good support for TV-OUT. Fglrx has a good support for tv-out, but the
new version doesn't work with RADEON 9250SE, the previous version has
support but you can not install it using repositories.
Solution:
Include the oldest version of fglrx driver in the repositories for using with
Radeon 9250SE and others that supports tv-out.
