Alberto, I have not looked at this bug again, that's why I want to
apologize. I was able to reproduce this, so I'll mark this bug as
confirmed.
As always: The GIMP developers are focused on the upcoming version and
fixing the high priority bugs, so maybe someone from the community could
make a patch for this.
