As someone said on Gnome Bugzilla, if the above link does not work, this should do the trick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrbNCg4ijtU (both work for me).
I have created another bug report on Gnome Bugzilla (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=711201) because Nautilus does not check the file size before creating thumbnails. I have set it to only show thumbs for files less than 500 KB, but I get thumbs for files larger than 5-6 MB. See attachment. Should I create another bug report on Launchpad, too, or is it enough to have it here? ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #711201 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=711201 ** Attachment added: "Workspace 1_290.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1245745/+attachment/3896528/+files/Workspace%201_290.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245745 Title: Loading larger folders with images takes a lot of time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/1245745/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
