Public bug reported: This bug happens on all of my computers that I have updated to Saucy (Ubuntu 13.10). VLC crashes whenever I try to convert an mp4 file to another mp4 file and reducing the ratio. It crashes immediately after I press the start button. It used to work great on previous versions of Ubuntu. Here is some info: Ubuntu release: 13.10 VLC version: Installed: 2.0.8-1
Some of the computers have Nvidia graphics cards (with the proprietary driver) and a laptop has intel graphic card. ** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1246781 Title: VLC crasher when converting a file to mp4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vlc/+bug/1246781/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
