I don't know what's the problem (maybe something related with new gtk3 engine?) but it's really annoying. Here is a quick workaround, in a terminal run following command:
sudo sed -i '1060s/.*/padding: 1px;/' /usr/share/themes/Clearlooks- Phenix/gtk-3.0/gtk-widgets.css && sudo sed -i '174,176s/.*/@define-color menubar_gradient_a shade(@core_color_b);/' /usr/share/themes/Clearlooks- Phenix/gtk-3.0/gtk.css it changes corresponding css files and brings back menu border again and fixes menubar colors. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1205225 Title: GTK2 apps look different than GTK3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clearlooks-phenix-theme/+bug/1205225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
