Appears that this issue is actually a hardware issue. I tested both Saucy and Precise live CDs and they had the same behavior on my L322X and I know that Precise used to work. You can see that codec probing isn't discovering the ALC275. The audio used to work right out of the box with Precise so that is what is leading me to a hardware issue. Never seen < 1yr old integrated sound card die before. There is no settings in the BIOS for audio. In light of this, please feel free to close this issue.
