A workaround is to do this on terminal: sudo apt-get install xscreensaver sudo wget --directory-prefix=/usr/local/bin/ https://launchpadlibrarian.net/154739229/lxlock sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/lxlock
You may also want to start xscreensaver as an automatically started application, but that is not necessary, when using the above. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1205384 Title: Lock can be circumvented by switching to console To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lxde/+bug/1205384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
