I found this bug by looking at the DuplicateOf field in the Apport dialog before I hit the 'Report' button. I can't say how reliable is apport's backtrace matching, but I remember noticing something about "invalid free()" in that report.
I then tried and managed to reproduce a crash on eject, and now my /var/crash/_usr_lib_gvfs_gvfsd-mtp.1000.crash contains a report about a SIGSEGV in LIBMTP_Get_Storage(). This smells like a different bug, and the topmost stack frames are in libmtp.so.9, except for the very first one, which is in ??. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218520 Title: gvfsd-mtp assert failure: *** Error in `/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-mtp': free(): invalid pointer: 0x081bd1c8 *** To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1218520/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
