Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Gnome-Terminal
2. use vi or anything to record the current screen size (in character) (kind of
80x25 characters or so)
3. press zoom-out / zoom-in quickly several time ("CTRL-+" (CTRL + SHIFT + "=")
and " CTRL- '-' "). As doing so, try not to make the window larger than your
monitor.
4. check the screen size again (in character)

Expected Result:
the screen size (in character) won't change

Current Result:
the screen size (in character) did change.
