Public bug reported:

Hi,

I got problems with Qsynth/fluidsynth. It seems it's not running well. I use to
use it with JACKD, but since I change, I use directly ALSA.

Sometimes, the programs runs fine, but sometimes, I'm asked to "restart
fluidsynth" (for parameters...). So I do so, but it tells me "alsa is busy !!".
I close the program, run it again, but again : "busy !!!"

I try to remove package (with --purge option), but I do it again...

Anyway, why should I close all programs using alsa each time I want to use
Qsynth/fluidsynth with ALSA ??? Should "dmix" or something let me use all my
alsa programs without problems ???

** Affects: fluidsynth (Ubuntu)
