It looks like you've installed some PPA versions of some libboost
packages which is causing the release upgrader to not be able to
calculate the upgrade:
ibboost-mpi-python1.49-dev 1.49.0-3.2ubuntu1 1
libboost-mpi-python1.49.0 1.49.0-3.2ubuntu1 1
libboost-mpi1.49-dev 1.49.0-3.2ubuntu1 1
libboost-mpi1.49.0 1.49.0-3.2ubuntu1 1
...
Investigating (0) libboost-mpi-python1.53.0 [ amd64 ] < none ->
1.53.0-6+exp3ubuntu8 > ( universe/python )
Broken libboost-mpi-python1.53.0:amd64 Conflita on libboost-mpi-python1.49.0 [
amd64 ] < 1.49.0-3.2ubuntu1 -> 1.49.0-4 > ( universe/python )
Considering libboost-mpi-python1.49.0:amd64 1 as a solution to
libboost-mpi-python1.53.0:amd64 0
Holding Back libboost-mpi-python1.53.0:amd64 rather than change
libboost-mpi-python1.49.0:amd64
You'll need to revert to the official versions of those packages (using
ppa-purge) for the upgrade to be calculated.
