Here's another D-Bus system bus monitoring log. I followed the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingDBus#How_to_monitor_the_system_bus (see also: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd- shim/+bug/1184262/comments/116)
After suspending and resuming networking was not working. I had to execute 'sudo nmcli nm sleep false' in order to get the networking working again. The only fix I have applied up to now is the one I found at http://www.webupd8.org/2013/01/fix-wireless-or-wired-network-not.html Aside: It seems that when I run 'nmcli nm sleep false' as a non-sudo user, the networking starts working again, but afterwards I am unable to suspend/restart/shutdown from the session menu. ** Attachment added: "D-Bus system bus monitoring log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd-shim/+bug/1184262/+attachment/3902675/+files/99-eavesdrop.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1184262 Title: [logind] times out too early, stuck in PrepareForSleep, causing network and other services to not resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1184262/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
