Hi Mario Thanks for getting back to me, and direct comms by email is ok. Probably not so helpful for others that read the forum, but it will help me I think! :o) Sorry for my slow repsonse, but I've been a bit busy.
When I boot using Edubuntu 7.0.4 Desktop CD (I am using Edubuntu cos I want to check it out for school use. Also Desktop CD used to be called the Live CD I think in older Ubuntu versions), a menu appears that says: Start or install Edubuntu Start Edubuntu in safe graphics mode etc etc If I select any of the Start or Install options, the screen goes blank but the cd spins and it appears to load something cos after a while it pauses. If at this point (the screen is still blank) I press enter, it starts loading something further, so I assume it's at some secondary menu or something, but I can't tell cos of the blank screen. Any ideas?
