Public bug reported:

gnumeric crashes loading some files (but not others). The best stack
trace I've been able to get so far is:

#0 0x00007f8f75536c85 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libspreadsheet-1.12.6.so
#1 0x00007f8f7552def6 in sv_update () from /usr/lib/libspreadsheet-1.12.6.so
#2 0x00007f8f75524959 in sheet_update () from /usr/lib/libspreadsheet-1.12.6.so
#3 0x00007f8f75b688a9 in main ()

This is gnumeric 1.12.6-1 under Ubuntu 13.10. I've been using the
spreadsheet in question just fine for years and years under previous
Ubuntu versions; it only started crashing with the recent upgrade to
13.10. Hopefully apport will attach all the other required info.

I can't yet attach a file that reproduces the bug, because I haven't
found one yet that both reproduces the bug *and* does not contain
sensitive personal information! Working on it.

Also, I built gnumeric 1.12.8 from source, and it seems fine. So it's
possible that a simple upstream upgrade will fix this bug.
