Public bug reported:

Not sure if this is caused by this package or is a bug in the dpkg
package which provides update-alternatives.

Following install of inetutils-traceroute I cannot use traceroute.

# traceroute
-bash: /usr/sbin/traceroute: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/traceroute
# ll /usr/bin/traceroute
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Nov 10 03:31 /usr/bin/traceroute ->
/etc/alternatives/traceroute*

This is a broken link.

But:

# update-alternatives --list traceroute
/usr/bin/inetutils-traceroute

I have previously installed the traceroute package but removed this as
inetutils-traceroute is more reliable.
