Sorry for so many posts, but I also wanted to note that this bug applies to the Dell Inspiron E1505 as well, and probably many other Dell notebooks... I know this because I have both a 1501 and an E1505 notebook. Here is the attached terminal output from the E1505 booted from the Gutsy Tribe 4 i386 live CD.
The Dell Inspiron E1505 also uses a Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller and a Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. ** Attachment added: "dmesg, lsmod, lspci -n, lspci -vvnn, sudo lspci -vvnn" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8811021/E1505GutsyOutputi386Tribe4.txt -- No support for Dell Inspiron 1501 and E1505 notebook's 802.11g https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/86932 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
