I'm seeing this in gutsy. I think it's dhclient who tries to find a DHCP server in my wireless interface, but I have not set network-manager to connect to any AP. nm-applet says I'm not connected to any AP, but my network config is changed by avahi after dhclient gets its answer.
dhclient keeps sending DHCP requests even when I disable wireless in nm- applet. Attached daemon.log since my last reboot. eth0 is manually configured wired interface, eth1 is network-manager managed wireless interface. ** Attachment added: "daemon.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8816329/daemon.log -- [feisty] At boot-up I'm connected to an untrusted wireless network and Network Manager doesn't tell me about it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114482 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
