After reading comment #11 on https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+question/215407, I try on a su session. danie@weer:~$ sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback [sudo] password for danie: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package gnome-session-fallback is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source
E: Package 'gnome-session-fallback' has no installation candidate .... Thus as long as session = gnome-fallback in .dmrc I won't be able to login, right? How can I change that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1250729 Title: Pre-Ubuntu 13.10 user (with cjkv) can not login with lightdm (ibus) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1250729/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
