Public bug reported:
After doing a fresh install of Lubuntu 13.10, I attempted to disable
putting the monitor to sleep, since I stream lengthy vids frequently and
thus leave the computer idle for long periods of time. However,
adjusting the settings in the included power manager results in no
changes to the operating system whatsoever. I've double-checked and made
sure that the settings are being saved after closing and reopening the
power manager, so it's not a matter of closing the application without
first applying the settings.
