Christopher, Thanks for these instructions.
I have done this and I have the .crash file in /var/crash. When I double click on it, I get "Sorry Ubuntu 13.10 has experienced an internal error" with a tickbox to submit this as a bug report. I can press continue it appears to have submitted the report - but now how can I find the report and track it's progress (also in case there is any additional information I need to provide?
