For the record: anyone who is still affected by this particular symptom
(network not coming up after suspend), please subscribe to and have a
look at bug 1252121. I put a fix into my
https://launchpad.net/~pitti/+archive/sru-test PPA (systemd-shim version
5-0ubuntu0.0pitti1). This is the only package in the PPA, so it's safe
to just dist-upgrade. This really ought to fix this problem properly.
Please let me know positive and negative results in bug 1252121.

If you have another suspend problem (some people reported that suspend
takes very long), please file a new bug.
