I have a SATA disk in the Ultrabay of my Lenovo ThinkPad T61 and whatever I try it does never show up as SATA. It is not even discovered as ATA unless I load the ide_generic module by hand, but then it does not do DMA and is slow.
Theodore Tso described the problem in length on http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/pipermail/linux-thinkpad/2007-July/039701.html Does this patch fix the problem? Will the next release of Gutsy Tribe contain the fix? P.S. I use Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 4 -- Add a necessary PCIID for Santa Rosa's PATA controller https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132454 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
