I think I have the same error, not quite sure. I see the following:
GStreamer encountered a general stream error.
If this problem persists consider reporting a bug using the link in the
help menu
And it occurs when I try to replay anything I saved. It looks like the
recording worked OK, but I cannot verify since I cannot replay it.
