Public bug reported:

When I load a web page or anything else with a lot of text, a few single
characters sometimes appear completely corrupted ("blown up"). Reloading
the page, marking and unmarking the respective characters, scrolling
them off the screen and back on etc. (including pressing Print Screen)
makes them display correctly again.
