Public bug reported:

Description : when recording screencast with kazam or recordmydesktop,
particulary from emulators like snes9x-gtk and QMC2/mame, the resulting
video is slowdown of about 8.5 percent.

How to reproduce the bug ? Launch a snes9x or QMC2/mame game and try to
record it with Recordmydesktop or Kazam. When watching the record, speed
is lower by about 8,5 percent, and it is all case the same slowdown
rate.

Why incriminate pulseaudio ? When you try to record the game with a
second software using sound, the bug doesn't appear, and it not appear
within next boot of the system. For example, i make record test with a
mumble session launched in same time i play the game and the bug is
disappear, but after a reboot, it was back.

Probably the bug is here since an update of pulseaudio in Raring, and it
still alive in Saucy. The first appearance of the bug for me is from a
video recorder on August 1st, 2013.

Actual Ubuntu version : 13.10
Actual pulseaudio version : 1:4.0-0ubuntu6
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Thank you for reading and good luck to chase this strange bug ;)
