This is indeed not a bug, it's by design. We don't want applications
running in background as that will kill your battery, that's why we
force it to stop. If your app wants to keep something in background, we
need a separated service for it, and request a lock with powerd to keep
the system running even when "suspended".
In this case, to be able to play a music in background, the app should
use the media service (which is still in early dev) instead.
Marking this bug as invalid, please feel free to open a bug in the
original app to make it use the media service, when available.
