I experience the same problem, with these observations: 1. If during a resume, the password screen opens automatically, network almost always reconnects properly; if I have to provide a keyboard/mouse input to display password screen, network never reconnects. 2. If networking does not start properly, I can often get it to do so by putting the machine into Suspend mode again, and resuming within ~4-5 seconds after it shuts down; if this fails, it does so with all subsequent attempts.
