[Support Statement]: Canonical and Calxeda will support this custom
13.10 armhf image for select Calxeda armhf customers/ demos for the
duration of the 13.10 life-cycle. However, users should be aware that
when 14.04 LTS ships, users will need to use the new 14.04 based cloud
image, since we do not support a distribution upgrade path from 13.10 to
14.04 for Calxeda cloud images.

** Description changed:

This bug tracks support requirement for calxeda specific cloud image
that will be hosted on partners.cloud-images.canonical.com. This is an
experimental cloud image based on 13.10, that has kernel package from
proposed, redirects dmidecode to /bin/true so that cloud-init does not
fail when it invokes dmidecode, and udev rules to load isofs module at
boot time so that we can pass a seed image to the cloud image in iso/CD
  format.

Currently calxeda cloud image is based on 13.10. There two paths to upgrade
to 14.04 cloud images.
#1. 13.10 images could to be upgraded to 14.04 using the distribution upgrade
path
#2. consumers of this image switch to using the new 14.04 based images when
they are released

- We require that consumers of calxeda cloud image upgrade to 14.04 by
- using the images that are released in cloud-images.ubuntu.com rather
- than doing a apt-get distupgrade.
+ We require that consumers of this calxeda specific cloud image upgrade
+ to 14.04 by using the images that are released in cloud-
+ images.ubuntu.com rather than doing a apt-get distupgrade.
