Apparently it's the configure script for ccache that takes care of
creating the links, so `sudo dpkg-reconfigure ccache` should get it
going. Not sure yet why it doesn't create them initially - maybe if it's
installed before the compiler / alternative is built up?

Maybe it should have a dpkg trigger that would recreate the links based
on some criteria?
