I get a similar error. I cannot download anything or update my system.
When I run the command you wrote i get this:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 33 not upgraded.
When I use synaptic I get an error like this:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libgl1-mesa-dri_6.5.2-3ubuntu8_i386.deb:
Verification on package
/var/cache/apt/archives/libgl1-mesa-dri_6.5.2-3ubuntu8_i386.deb failed!
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libgl1-mesa-glx_6.5.2-3ubuntu8_i386.deb:
Verification on package
/var/cache/apt/archives/libgl1-mesa-glx_6.5.2-3ubuntu8_i386.deb failed!
I searched all over launchpad, this was the most similar bug report.
Please excuse me if I subscribed the wrong one...
