  Previously, when I was using an HDD, a message would pop up asking if I
  wanted to shutdown, which I didn't. However, now that I'm using an SSD,
  it just immediately starts shutting down without my being able to either
- prevent the event altogether, or say no. As well, no configuration
- option exists to adjust this in Power Options, etc.
