Hi Christopher, I was with a friend that i have help to install ubuntu 12.04 skype and guvcview... He has a fresh install, and a microsoft camera...
When he boots, he has exactly the same problem, (because i installed everything to his pc). So, i just opened a terminal to see the commands i have give after the installation. One of them, is: sudo apt-add repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner"... in my fresh installs that have not that repository, i have not the problem... in the ones i have give it i have the problem... So its a bug of canonical, or a misteke during my upgrade (that kept the old lsb_release)... I mark it as invalid, because the problem has to do with canoniocal or my mistakes... ** Changed in: linux-lts-raring (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1251928 Title: pulseaudio guvcview and logitech webcam (c310) "cannot set freq" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-raring/+bug/1251928/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
