The latest version of gnome-games has fixed this. Get it at: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-games/2.19/
It is really a pygtk API breakage. This has also been fixed in the SVN trunk version of gtk+, and will be included in the next development release of gtk+.
