Binary package hint: ssl-cert
# make-ssl-cert /usr/share/ssl-cert/ssleay.cnf
/etc/apache2/ssl/apache.pem
If the ssl sub-directory in /etc/apache2 does not exist, and you try to
create the certificate, everything appears to have gone OK, but the file
is never written to disk. This could be considered a bug or an
enhancement. Either way, at least a warning should appear. Does make-
ssl-cert not check for errors when writing the file out to disk?
