Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Using Feisty. I have flown to a new city, and want to change the time
zone the clock displays while I am there.
Actual:
- Right-click the clock
- Select Adjust Date and Time
- Enter super-user password
- Wait for applet to start
- Change time zone
Expected:
- Either I don't have to enter the super-user password to access the applet OR
there is a menu item for setting the time zone which just does it.
I can't see a need for me to be a super-user to change how the clock
displays time. I don't want to change the underlying time, I just want
to change what the UI tells me it is.
** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
