** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: medit

How to reproduce that bug :

  1. sudo apt-get install medit
  2. update-alternatives --display gnome-text-editor | grep medit
- 2. cat /usr/share/applications/defaults.list | grep medit
+ 3. cat /usr/share/applications/defaults.list | grep medit

Result : Both 2. and 3. commands won't show medit and after uninstalling
gedit, the system will pick LibreOffice Writer or Firefox for text
  files.

Expected result : Being an alternative for gedit, medit should have the
same mime associations and belong to the same alternatives group.

Tested on Linux Mint 16 Petra Cinnamon 64-bit, medit 1.1.1-2
