I just added Volti, an indicator for volume/sound and using alsamixer directly
instead of the pulseaudio.
I like the volti "indicator" much better, as it is a classic volume (sound)
icon with a very simple up/down bar, yet can be changed easily by simply
hovering over it and rolling the mouse wheel.
Alsamixer is proven, Pulseaudio seems to have problems. I like to stick with
what works. (Call me old-fashioned.)
Something this elementary (using sound on a system) shouldn't have any bugs, by
the way.
