I have set up service-wrapper to launch basex as a system daemon, assuming a 'basex' user with rw access to a home dir located at '/var/lib/basex'
Please find script and wrapper.conf attached. The script depends on /usr/share/wrapper/daemon.sh provided by the 'service-wrapper' package.
