Happened again.

Lsusb when the hub is connected to the port where it does not work:

Strangely enough, they are almost the same.
I can see the printer listed in both, for example, which is connected to the 
hub; yet, the printer does not work in the first case.
Neither does the keyboard, but I don't know which device in the list the 
keyboard is.


@jsalisbury may yo explain why on earth you marked this as incomplete??

Title:
  USB hub stopped working on a given USB port (would work on any other
  port). Reboot fixed the issue
